Chris White
Outreach Minister (Intern)
(864) 715-8969
Chris grew up in Washingtonville, New York where he attended church on Sundays. Chris still has an ongoing relationship with his then youth leader Ed. He has been a member at Cedarwood since 2022. Chris is a vacation bible school teacher, one of the youth leaders, a fill in teacher for children’s church and college and careers, and teaches for Good News Club at Waterloo Elementary School. Chris has a passion for reaching families in our community. He has been working with Social Services since 2016 providing services to children and families.
Chris has a wonderful and amazing wife, they have been married since 2016. They have four children; Abigail, Wyatt, Oliver and Logan that are blessings from the Lord. They are expecting their fifth child in summer 2025. They are the greatest blessings the Lord has given him.
Chris has a heart for outreach as that is how God guided him and his family to Cedarwood. Chris and his family started coming to Cedarwood because of a piece of cardstock. An invitation to Trunk or Treat at Cedarwood. His family came to the event and had a great time. They came to church that Sunday, and God placed David Hine in his path to show his family where to bring the children with kindness, love and grace. After meeting Andrea Confer and her husband Ron they left their children comfortably with them. God had placed a hymn on the Worship Leader Christine’s mind to play that exact day. That hymn was one of Chris's wife’s favorite songs. After that Chris and his family have been growing in their relationship with Jesus.
