Children’s Ministry at Cedarwood
Where Kids Are Loved, Safe, and Growing in Christ
At Cedarwood Community Church, we believe the most valuable thing we can invest in is your child. That’s why we’ve created a safe, fun, and Christ-centered environment where kids can experience the love of God, build friendships, and grow in their faith.
Every one of our Children’s Ministry team members has passed a background check and is committed to providing a secure, engaging, and spiritually nurturing space. While you enjoy worship, your child will enjoy an age-appropriate experience filled with music, Bible stories, crafts, games, and more—all designed to help them understand God’s love in real and meaningful ways.
We consider it a privilege to partner with you in helping your child grow emotionally, relationally, and spiritually. If you ever have a question, please ask—we’re here to help!
What to Expect
A Safe Environment
Your child’s safety is our top priority.
When you arrive, head to the Children’s Ministry registration desk, where one of our trained volunteers will help you check in. Each child receives a name tag with a unique code, and parents receive a matching pick-up tag. Only the person with that tag can pick up your child.
All of our volunteers wear name tags and lanyards, which identify them as trained and background-checked team members. You can rest easy knowing your child is in good hands.
A Learning Environment
Each class is tailored to your child’s age and stage of development, using a Bible-based curriculum that helps kids grow in their understanding of God and His Word. Through singing, drama, Scripture reading, crafts, and games, your child will explore faith in ways that connect to their everyday lives.
A Fun Environment
We believe learning about Jesus should be joyful! Every Sunday and Wednesday, we aim to put smiles on kids’ faces. When you pick up your child, expect to see them beaming—with stories to share about what they learned and the fun they had.

Nursery Care
🕤 9:30 AM–12:00 PM
📍 Room 203 – For Birth through 3 Years Old
Our loving nursery team provides a safe and caring environment for our youngest ones during both worship and Sunday School.
Wednesday Evenings: TeamKID
🕡 6:30–7:30 PM
📍 Kindergarten–5th Grade
TeamKID is an action-packed night of Bible learning, fun activities, and games that help kids live out their faith.
