Our Beliefs

Real. Loving. Accepting. Serving

Authority of Scripture

We believe that all Scripture is divinely inspired and serves as the final authority in all matters of belief and behavior. Therefore, we value Bible-based preaching and teaching as the foundation for all that we do. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

Worship

We believe that we are created by God to worship and glorify Him, and that is the ultimate reason for our existence. Therefore, we will seek to passionately praise and worship Him. (John 4:23-24)

Prayer

We believe that God has given us both the privilege and responsibility to pray to Him. When we pray God is faithful to hear and answer our prayers. Therefore, we seek to set aside time for personal, family, and corporate prayer. (Matthew 6:7; 1 Thessalonians 5:17).

Family

We believe that God has created the institution of family. Therefore, we encourage lifelong commitments to marriage between one man and one woman; we support the ongoing spiritual nurture of the family; and, we are committed to honoring the priority of family time through our ministries and activities. (Ephesians 5:22-6:4)

Fellowship/Community

We believe that God instructs us to build healthy and loving relationships with other believers. Therefore, we create our environment where we can cultivate friendships with our brothers and sisters in Christ. We also strive to create an environment where all feel welcome and accepted. (Romans 12:10; 1 John 4:7-11)

Life Transformation

We believe that all Christians should spend time daily reading God's Word and growing their personal relationship with Christ. This is done through prayer and a daily quiet time. Each believer is responsible for becoming more like Christ in their beliefs and how they conduct themselves. Therefore, we will provide opportunities to help every believer grow into the man or woman God wants them to become.(Ephesians 4:13; Colossians 1:28)

Every Member Ministry

We believe that God cares about the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of every person. It is our responsibility to minister to the people in our community. To be accepting of where they are in life and help them see their need for Jesus Christ. Therefore, we will develop believers who will impact our community and the world. (Ephesians 4:11-12)

Personal Evangelism/Missions

We believe that every person is important to God and He desires a personal relationship with them. God has also entrusted the message of salvation to His followers. Therefore, we will strive to share the gospel message with all people, regardless of race, ethnicity, or economic status, both in our community and throughout the world. (Matthew 28:19-20; 2 Corinthians 5:18-20)

Stewardship

We believe that as followers of Jesus Christ we are to be good stewards of all that God has given us. This includes our time, money, gifts, talents, etc. and we are to use them to expand His kingdom. Therefore, we encourage every member to recognize God’s ownership of everything and to practice the biblical principle of tithing. (1 Corinthians 4:2; 1 Peter 4:10)
